Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a technology that’s been around for over 80 years. It involves increasing your oxygen intake by breathing in almost pure oxygen in our enclosed, comfortable, state of the art soft chambers.
Under normal conditions, the air we breathe contains a mixture of gases, of which only ~21% is oxygen. Elevating the oxygen can enhance and accelerate the body’s ability to repair itself, generate energy and create an environment in which inflammation can be suppressed and regenerative healing can be promoted.
We have 2 soft shell chambers at Thrive Wellness Centre, that operate in a comfortable air-conditioned space. They have 5 large viewing windows and an on-board humidifier. The treatments are usually 60 minutes length and are supervised by an experienced Thrive Wellness team member.
Some people like to read, meditate, listen to a podcast or catch up on the latest news during their treatment! You might even find yourself so relaxed you fall asleep.
